About TEDxCasey

TEDxCasey is a not-for-profit community organisation established to run independent TED events in the City of Casey in Melbourne, Australia. 

Our purpose is to identify and share ideas that matter to our local community. 

We are part of, and work with, our local community members to bring our flagship event to the stage of the magnificent Bunjil Place, Narre Warren. 

Other smaller events are held throughout our community at a variety of venues and locations.

 TEDxCasey was established by a small group of local community members in 2019.

What is TEDx?

TEDx is a global movement of indepently organised TED events that support the TED mission of “ideas worth spreading,”

TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.

  • TEDx, which supports individuals or groups in hosting local, self- organized TED-style events around the world, and
  • the TED Fellows program, helping world-changing innovators from around the globe to amplify the impact of their remarkable projects and activities.
